Box Truck Upfit With 18 GPM Wash, Recovery and Recycling System

Box Truck Upfit With 18 GPM Wash, Recovery and Recycling System

An upfitted box truck puts a complete mobile wash, recovery and recycling system inside a truck body instead of on a trailer. You get an 18 GPM wash system that's easy to drive and park and secure overnight, with no trailer to hitch or back into tight lots. Hot And Mighty designed and installed this 18 GPM box truck upfit with full wash, wash water recovery and recycling capability.

Box truck upfit vs. pressure washer trailer

Box truck upfit Pressure washer trailer
Maneuverability Easier in tight lots, drive-thrus and city streets Requires backing and turning room
Security Everything locks inside one vehicle Trailer can be unhitched and left, or stolen
Tow vehicle None needed Requires a properly rated truck
Flexibility System stays with the truck Trailer can be moved between tow vehicles
Weather protection Fully enclosed body Enclosed trailers offer similar protection

What an 18 GPM wash, recover and recycle system can do

  • High flow for big jobs. 18 GPM supports multiple operators or high-flow tools like large surface cleaners, so crews finish fleet, lot and equipment washing faster.
  • Wash water recovery. A recovery vacuum pulls dirty water off the surface so it doesn't reach storm drains.
  • Recycling. Recovered water is separated and filtered on board for reuse, so the truck carries less fresh water and discharges less.

Frequently asked questions

Can you upfit a truck I already own?

Yes. We regularly build systems into customer-supplied trucks and trailers. Send us the truck body dimensions and payload rating and we'll spec a system that fits.

Is a box truck or a trailer better for a pressure washing business?

A box truck is better for urban work, tight lots and security. A trailer is more flexible if you want to swap tow vehicles or already own a heavy-duty truck.

Do I need recovery and recycling?

If you wash where runoff can reach storm drains, like parking lots, fleets or drive-thrus, recovery is often required by local stormwater rules. Recycling adds the ability to reuse the water.
